Biddurina BIG BEN
When Sheena goes to a remote village on an election duty, finds a place to lodge at his friends house. When his watch clocks out, he feels very difficult to determine the time as the village has no clocks at any of their houses. Finally he waits for the Gowda's Buffalo to shout as it usually does on every morning exactly at six, to find the time, in order to catch the only bus departing next morning from the village. His confusions during the night make the play humorous.

About Writers :
P Lankesh was born in 1935. A post graduate in English, Lankesh served as Lecturer in Mysore University.
Lankesh was a highly acclaimed and powerful writer. His short stories, novels, plays and criticisms were very popular. His works like Sankranti, Teregalu, Tale danda etc gave him a good standing in the Kannada literary world. In early 70’s he had launched a Kannada weekly Lankesh Patrike which mostly catered to intellectuals, with focus on social and political issues. Lankesh was a multifaceted personality. As a writer, actor, playwright, dramatist, director, he was honoured with awards and was felicitated in many literary functions. His film titled Pallavi won him Rashtra Prashasti State Award . His book Kallu Karaguva Samaya, a short story collection, won Sahitya Akademi Award. He passed away in 2000.
Savitha Nagabhushan was born in Chikmaglur and worked in Postal Department. Her works in literature are - 'Sthriloka', 'Na baruthene Kelu', 'Chandranannu Kareyiri Bhoomige', 'Halemagalu', 'Aakasha Mallige' and 'Jathreyalli Shiva'. She was honoured with State Sahithya Akademi Award, M.K.Indira Award, Geetha Desai Grant and B.H.Shridhar Award.
Shrinivas Vaidya was born in Dharawad and worked for Canara Bank and retired as Assistant General Manager. His works are - 'Thalegondo Tharathara', 'Manasukharayana Manassu', 'Ruchige Puliyogaru', 'Halla Banthu Halla', 'Agnikarya' etc. He was honoured with State Sahithya Akademi Award, Kendra Sahithya Akademi Award and Ramanand Award.
