WHAT IS SAMASHTI ?

Samashti means completeness, entirety, wholeness or integration. It is an integration of people in different field of art & culture. It is a forum of musicians, painting artists, theatre artists, sculptors, folk artists and so on.

SAMASHTI THEATRE

SAMASHTI theatre wing was established as a theatre association in the year of 2000 with a small group of amateur theatre artists to pursue their hobbies.

Samashti was registered under Indian Trusts Act 1882, as a public charitable and educational trust in the year 2004. It was also registered under Indian Income Tax Act 1932. All voluntary contributions and donations to this trust are eligible for tax deductions under section 80G of the Indian Income Tax.

SAMASHTI SAHITYA SANJE

SAHITHYA SANJE is a forum for literary meet. Every week there will be a reading of short story, drama, poem or other literatures. This will be followed by a discussion on the literature read. At present Kannada literature and translations of other language literature into Kannada are being read and discussed in this forum. List of recent works are as below:
