About the play
When Krishna finds Ekalavya as the biggest threat in his path as he stands along Pandavas to protect them, fills his desire by killing Ekalavya. Making this perceptible to the mind of imagination gives the form SAAFALYA (Fulfillment). In the Vyasabharata there are no signs of with whom, when and how Ekalavya fought and died. But the list of all killed by Krishna has Ekalavya's name. With this small line of the story Kailasam has woven a beautiful story, giving us the wonderful feel of imagination.
About the author
'Tyagaraja Paramashiva Kailasam', born on July 29, 1885 is one of the greatest playwrights who contributed in his own ways, highly to the Kannada Literature.
Some of the plays written by him are ‘Tollugatti', 'Huttadalli Hutta', 'Home Rule' and so on. One can also see his works in English like 'Purpose', Fulfillment', 'The Brahmins Curse' and many more.
Many works of Kailasam translated into Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani and Hindi. 'Kannadakobbane Kailasam' means Kailasam ‘the only one and no one other than him’ in Kannada says how he has carved the niche in the Kannada literature.

The play has been directed by Manjunath L Badiger and Satish Mandavya.
Manjunath L Badiger is a NINASAM graduate, also was an actor in the NINASAM's TIRUGATA. Has learnt Yakshagana professionally at the Udupi Yakshagana Kendra and holds 'Janapada Diploma' from 'Ramanagara Janapada Loka'. Presently he is working as an artist & director in the team. Has directed 'Harinabhisarana', "Bommanahalliya Kindari Jogi' 'Kathana', 'Miss Sadarame' and many more. As an actor so far has acted in 'Ashadada Ondu Dina', 'Samabhashiva Prahasana', 'Navilu Ninthava', 'Karmugila Minchu', 'JathakaRingana', 'Urubanga', 'Miss Sadarame', 'Avasthe', 'Modalagithi', 'AMani', 'Harinabhisarana', 'Saafalya' and so on..
Sathish Mandavya is also a NINASAM graduate, was an actor in the TIRUGATA. He has worked as an actor and advisor for the troupes 'Janadani', 'Geleyara Balaga' and 'Lokadharmi' from Mandya. 'Smashana Kurukshetra', 'Tippu Sultan', 'Mahanirvana', Chandragupta', 'Bhoota', 'Sejuvan Nagarada Sadvi', 'Dyavanuru', 'Kaladivya' are the plays so far acted. Plays Directed - 'Teregalu', 'Nanna Sutta', 'Mahanirvana', 'Sevanthi Prasanga', 'Buddha Mattu Bomb' so on..
Presently is an actor in the team and also in serials & films.
About the technician
Veeresh M.P.M, another NINASAM graduate, has worked as an actor & technical director in the NINASAM's TIRUGATA. Presently has designed the stage & have played music for the play.
