HISTORY

 

            Samashti theatre wing was established as a theatre association in the year of 2000 with a small group of amateur theatre artists to pursue their hobbies.
 

         Samashti was registered under Indian Trusts Act 1882, as a public charitable and educational trust in the year 2004. It was also registered under Indian Income Tax Act 1932. All voluntary contributions and donations to this trust are eligible for tax deductions under section 80G of the Indian Income Tax.

 

 MISSION

            To excel in all aspects of theatre, with a view to reach new heights, on a self sustained basis.

ACTIVITY GUIDELINES

1.      Reach the mass without affecting the values of theatre.

2.      Give importance to the creative work.

3.      Give emphasis to all aspects of theatre in productions such as acting, set, music, properties; make up, costumes, lighting etc.

4.      Assume acting as a core subject.

5.      Conduct workshops to identify talents and to enrich the existing talents.

6.      Produce new or rarely touched plays.
